2. Visiting this website
When you open a page, your browser transmits technical data to the server: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser used. The hosting provider processes this data to deliver the website and to defend it against attacks (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and keeps it only for as long as is necessary for operation and security. We do not analyse it ourselves.
Hosting: Vercel Inc., USA, as processor on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses. The functions for forms and login run in Vercel’s data centre in Frankfurt am Main. Vercel checks whether you are logged in when you open a members’ page, at a location near you.
3. No analytics, no advertising
This website uses no analytics or advertising services and loads no fonts, scripts or content from third-party servers.
4. Cookie in the members’ area
We set a cookie (“wli_sitzung”) only if you log in to the members’ area. It contains your membership number, the time at which it expires and a checksum, and it keeps you logged in for 30 days. It is deleted when you click “Log out”. The cookie is strictly necessary for the members’ area (section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021); Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
5. Access to the members’ area
For your personal access we store your membership number and an irreversible hash of your password with the hosting provider. The password itself is never stored. The website does not store your name.
6. Forms and e-mail
When you submit a form (contact, application for membership, interest in an experience day), your details are sent as an e-mail to the association’s mailbox; when you register your interest in an experience day, your membership number is included. The website itself does not store them. The association’s mailbox is hosted by Strato in Germany.
The legal basis for contact enquiries is our legitimate interest in answering your message (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); for the application for membership and your interest in an experience day, it is the initiation and performance of the membership (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We delete your details as soon as they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply. We do not ask for health information in any form; please do not send us any either.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object. Please write to mail@wise-lifestyle.org for this. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
